Bio: Akane Kobayashi

Akane was the youngest doughter (8 years old) of the Kobayashi famly. Her father (Hideo Kobayashi) was a proud Kusari Naval Forces officer and her mom (Momoko Endo) worked as her dads assistant. Since the Kobayashi famly had no sons to uphold the tradition to adleast deliver one male child for the Naval Forces, they forced their oldest doughter Chiyoko Kobayashi to join the army. But disaster struck on the day of her graduation. Corsairs attacked the ceremony and killed many Kusari Soldiers and some officers. Or so it was told.

Luckely for Akane she had stayed behind that day on New Tokyo, her Grand Uncle (her mothers uncle) Makoto Endo was visiting the system and he wanted to see the youngest of his famly. He had always loved children a lot and especially litle Akane, for he himself didn't have any children and on his old day he kind of started to miss out on it. They had been having a fun day at an amusement park on New Tokyo, when suddenly colleges of her dad arrived and told them about the horrible incident. As the only living famly, Makoto Endo instantly voluntered to become the lawfull guardian of Akane. The only catch was, that he had been a Zoner for most of his life, so Akane would have to grow up somewhere out there in space on a Zoner base, but her dads old colleges all agreed that it was a better faith then having to grow up in an orphenary. Once all the papers were signed, the young Akane left New Tokyo, not to see it again for another 16 years.

She grew up to be a fine young lady, thanks to Zoner education and her Grand Uncles code of tradition and honour. She learned to fight with the Katana and learned to find peace of mind within herself, a feat that is truelly hard for her, because her mind often wanders of to the question about who truelly killed her famly. Once she turned 16 her uncle would sometimes take her along in his Gunboat to protect Zoner tradeships, and he'd sometimes let her fly it, but not to often, for Makoto Endo his flying days had long since been past. He belived that it was time for a younger generation to take over and secretly hoped that Akane would take his place as a Gunboat captain of the Zoners.

As the news brought more and more information about trade convoys being attacked, people being slaughtered, the war between Kusari and Bretonia and between Rheinland and Liberty, Akane became even more obsessed with the dead of her famly. She wanted to make a differance, she wanted to avenge them, bring every criminal to justice, to bring peace to Sirius, so people could be happy again and smile and just enjoy life. This drove her to start digging more and more into the incident of her famly. Wich made her find secret documents her uncle kept secret for her. She confronted him with it, blaming him he hadn't told her everything he knew, blaming him he had lied to her. But he just reminded her about the fact that she had been to young to understand the full situation of the incident and he told her about the corsairs their involvement (or adleast the belived involvement). She started crying as she had just verbally assaulted her last famly and she hided herself on her room for 3 days.

The years came by after that incident and Akane and Mokoto grew even closer to each other until Makoto slowely withered away of old age. On his dead bed, he gentely toke Akane her arm and pulled her closer, whispering to her: "I know you didn't make up your mind yet, but I want you to have my gunboat. It's circuits are a bit broken and it's hull needs some repears, but I know you'll take good care of it, right?" Akane could only nod as she hugged him and hold him tight, as he slowely breathed his last breath and her tears rolled over her cheeks. In Makoto his will he asked for a Kusari funeral on New Tokyo and also asked that it would be Akane who brought his body to New Tokyo. As promised and asked in the will, Akane left with the Gunboat, with Mokoto his body on board and some of his best Zoner friends following her to New Tokyo where they said their last farewell and returned Mokoto back to the Ancesters and the elements of Nature.

Now Akane stands before a difficult desition, will she follow in her Grand Uncles footsteps and become a Zoner, hold up the tradition of her famly and become a Kusari Naval Forces, follow her own ideals and hunt down evil whereever it goes as a vigilent or maybe some other road that'll appear before her as she meets the right people? The world is full with options, but wich one will she take?
