FIRST:
A gun that shoots that fast would simply EXPLODE. No heat-sink, probably not even a fighter heat-sink could stand THAT much heat! Bullets cause A LOT of heat when they are fired. Not to mention it would weigh well over 100 pounds simply due to the amount of AMMUNITION it would need.

Yeah, there is a gun that can shoot 90 rounds in 20-30 seconds... But they tested it. It exploded. The gunman DIED. His ARM WAS BLOWN OFF. I'm sure some of you have played "Goldeneye" for the Nintendo 64, right? Any of you remember the RCP-90? That was based off a real gun that I mentioned earlier... That EXPLODED.

SECOND:
The plasma launcher? Dream on. That having a 1500 meter range? And still shooting 4 shots a second? The 1500 meter with ANY accuracy is non-existent. A two year old on a bicycle could avoid it. Secondly, a Plasma gun has to have a source of PLASMA. Those small cartridges could not supply 200 shots of plasma unless you are expecting them to be the size of needles... In which case, you're not really going to kill anyone. That much plasma would barely penetrate a t-shirt.

Why does Rheinland have plasma guns on their ships? They have LARGE LARGE quantities of Plasma stored for them. That gun would be one shot, then you have to reload. Similar to a modern day single-barrel shotgun.

THIRD:
Nothing but a tank could survive a .80 cal gun. Even then its with luck. If, by chance, that could survive the shot, the victim would at least be partially liquefied. Let's say it hits his stomach, OK? His intestines would turn into something close to jelly. He would hit the ground and die anyway. You'd be better of making TANKS out of that stuff. At most it could take a .40 cal without the user being knocked unconscious instantly.

Did I mention that the armor would weigh as much as a tank? The user would be crushed under the weight of the armor itself. You can't tell me that there is machines keeping that from happening and he can still move at relatively high rates of motion. The armor wouldn't be thick enough to take a SWORD.

Personal shield... Um... No way. Shields are still huge, and require a lot of energy. Way more than "kinetic energy" can produce. The shield, if possible, would only be up for a maximum of 5 seconds and could only take the weakest of the weakest energy weapons. I mean, a taser would be like an inferno against a fighter shield. Not to mention the fact that an old fashion slug would go right through the shield. Hell, I could hit you with a spoon through your shield!

Actually... I'd like to purchase one of those shields. Just in case I need to have protection from flies when running a marathon. Though, I'd have to find a way to move at the speed of sound.
