I started by making a quick run of industrial hardware to Elysium. After which I went to Bretonia to begin the second leg of my route. While in New London I was contacted by Mr. Gunsmith himself to do a few loads of silver mining. I docked my transport and hitched a ferry ride back to Elysium where I fired up my miner. The silver I mined yesterday was still in the hold so I promptly offloaded it, after which I went to the mining field to assist in mining efforts. I helped to mine for Mr. Gunsmith's transport and make two hauls of my own. After which I docked my miner at Elysium and hitched a ride back to my transport in New London. I then tried a new route from Bretonia to Liberty, gold from the BMM base in Dublin to Austin Depot in Texas. This netted nearly 10 million credits, not bad. On the way from Texas to New York is when things got interesting. While heading from the Texas jumpgate I ran smack into a pirate flotilla, multiple fighters and maybe a cruiser. They demanded 3 million credits, which I considered not too exorbitant given the profit I had just made, and since I was vastly outnumbered and outgunned I coughed it up. Afterwards I reported this to an LPI officer I ran accross at Norfolk, although unfortunately the officer in question was only flying a light fighter and couldn't do anything. From then on I proceeded to Trenton for more industrial hardware. Then I went back to Bretonia to try yet another trade route, Beryllium from Cardiff Mining Station in Cambridge to Austin Depot unfortunately this one didn't yield as much profit. The Dublin run is the better choice if given the opportunity. While I was in Texas an LPI officer offered to provide an escort while I completed my run through Liberty, and he appraised me of when it was safe to complete it. My third run of industrial hardware was far less eventful than it could have been. After all that I had enough and went straight to the bar.
