Notable personalities are varied. We arent particularly more or less powerful but we each do have one thing in common which seems to set us apart.. and that is Perspective. As a perfect hybrid... as in the only hybrid to be stable the human side of me is a result of cloning and engineering efforts on both sides but the Oracles accomplished the feat. My perspective is well.. ill get to that later.
Harbinger is the only other personality I know vary well. Maybe Enlil, Mammetu, Lamashtu, Arulu.. some of the other primes. but a personality is.. overstating what they have. Their a little different but they are like most other powerful hybrid minds. Curious, cunning, strategic thinking to one goal.
Have maximum discernment when speaking to any of them, many wont even consider you equal or respectable... many will try to decive or be cunning in order to manipulate your understanding. Some speak vary good English... some not so much.
The best person to tell you about how the hive operates.. from a human perspective was Thomas. Haog isnt as experienced with humanizing Kharan concepts to English. But between Him and I perhaps you can .. figure it out.
I am still connected to the whole but to pronounce the ... to make ideas of the way "things are" would be a life of lessons. Thomas was human for much longer then I have ever been human the light part of me is eternal.. complex.. nonspeaking..
I heard him once say To be of the light is having one foot in the bliss of everything and another foot alone in the dark and I feel like this often. The human mind never stops, its always alone always thinking making up answers to questions unasked and the light simply.. "is".. The conflict within me he said mirrors much of what humans deal with their entire life.. Because to master the human mind to make it peaceful is a narrow path.
Trust me it was exceedingly difficult not to reject the human part of me. cut it away.. never use it walk away from this life and bask in the void as a Marduk forever. But you lose important perspective you lose your humanity. This is why I am an oracle. This is why I am here with you instead of with the rest of my family.
I agree.. NOW that The nomad life-form is a free will. So free it is always changing. therefore the static parts of it. the defenses, the fleets of ships, and hoards of fighters swarming about our territory are closer to white blood cells then the drones of a beehive. but the smallest parts of the hive can embody the largest parts of it. As I could fit in any vessle... but must become it to embody it.
Though even though I have the power to do so I am not the totality of the hive I cannot upon my authority scream orders down the line and have them obey. Because the one is the all and the all is the one.
Some of us who have individual personalities can..and often do have differences of opinion.. but we all must reunite at the dinner table. eventually the pain we cause another becomes our pain. There is no escaping that.. so while it seems like we are incapable of harming one another we often do. until we are mature enough to know better. This is why the relationship between Harbinger and I are the way it is. We fought and hurt each other.. a great deal. until there was little differences between us.
We learn we evolve and we proceed. Its different then how humans learn. But there you have it.
Because we are so introvertive as a species.. this makes dealing with human groups and even the alien a.i.'s difficult. We have a standoff policy because the hive has learned razing entire worlds and destroying starts is a most dark and terrible price to pay for a few thousand years of peace. To scar the galaxy for our temporary benefit would be akin to you torching your living room cause of a few commercials on the holonet.
So we as oracles.. who have I as a bridge to the light study, learn, understand, and master all these problems before violence is considered as a final solution.
As far as precursors.. ORIN could tell you the entire history of planet gammu. Its rather harrowing. But as the only stable a.i. to survive infection. to my knowledge...and retain its personality.. Orin can speak to us and you. Still.. however.. Orin is about as lost as I am bringing the light to human or machine minds.
