John was a little bit baffled by DeGrange's tone, although he knew what had happened. John entered the room just behind DeGrange and closed the door behind him. The kitchen wasn't too big but both of them had enough space, to not stand on each others feet. "Guess the meeting was worse than you told me in the transmission. I'm sorry for not being the best interrogator, it's the first time I have to do this kind of work." John leaned against one of the free walls, his arms crossed.

"It seems we get to meet an old friend of the Admiral and additionally we have to scrap our whole plan." Mayer sighed and let his head fall forward. "Anyways, I guess you're going to 'lecture' me, right?" John looked up again and waited for DeGrange to say something. The air felt colder than before and an annoying itch started to appear on Johns neck. He started scratching his neck as his eyes moved around the room, searching for something that had forced the air to get colder over the time he was talking to Lachance.
