The Order -developed- the weapons commonly referred to as 'nomad energy cannons' and 'nomad energy blasters'.

Read the cards for both, they are an effort to convert nomad technology into working weapons for human ships. There is really only one faction in all of sirius that understands nomads enough, and puts enough effort into studying them, to develop such weapons - the order. Liberty may have a few prototypes in alaska, but they shouldnt be using them on any official ships for some time (and the fact that they do use them openly lends further to the 'liberty is infested' ploy that the order plays around).

I'm afraid I must disagree. These weapons were found on Liberty craft during SP, leading me to believe that the 'corrupted' Liberty and Rheinland co-operated to reverse engineer the weapons to work on Sirius craft. While I can't rule out that The Order originally developed the technology to use it, and if that were the case, how did Liberty get their hands on such technology? To quote Tekagi "You are going to tell me everything I want to know, about The Order, the Tome, everything". Leading me to believe that the corrupted officials in the houses don't know a great deal about The Order as a whole, let alone steal their technology.

Now when it comes to weapon drops, maybe its feasible that The Order engineers custom tool them to run on your craft, since they have a decent understanding of the weapons. Thats my theory.

I don't believe Order originally developed reverse engineered Nomad weapons. End.
