Perhaps Morons was harsh along with some of my other words.

But my stance itself is the same, i do not trust the Core they have given me no reason to, yes they have extended an olive branch but its been extended from a large thorn bush. They have us over a barrel when it comes to negotiations, because they know even if we say No they can just bulldoze their way through regardless.

I truly do hope that you can prove me wrong, that peace can be made that doesn't lead to the Core taking over the Omicrons as suspected, but i cannot shake this feeling that they wont stop at Delta. Livadia is in Kappa, right next door, whats to stop them moving into Kappa and just continuing what they started in Delta Instead of Freeport 11 its Livadia?.

If we are to go to the table, we have to go to it with our eyes fully open, its still the Core, this invitation for peace is a very very small start towards any kind of recompense, wounds are still fresh, distrust is still ripe, and we cannot brush away the potential for this to be a smoke screen, we have to be so Very very wary. There will be those within our people who will not be happy that we may be breaking bread with the Core, i know full well the Livadian Zoners are not at all happy with the prospect but i have got their support for the greater good.

We will not be going into these negotiations with a strong hand if any hand at all, and sitting with a group who not so long ago were committed to removing us from Delta by any means necessary. We must be vigilant is my final word on this matter.
