Esteemed Mad John Rackham of the TAZ,

for clarification, the Core will not take over the station. It will remain in the hands of the Zoners if we agree. If we don't agree, it is very likely for us to either lose the station entirely or have the Core trying to take it. I doubt they will waste resources on the latter, though, as Freeport 11 is in a position where it is very easy to attack from all sides. They have Yaren, that is enough base for them in Delta to act forward.

What the Core however will get is exclusive rights over the No-Fire-Zone, as in the ability to enforce both their system-wide laws as well as the typical set of laws we use for No-Fire-Zones. That is, if we keep a No-Fire-Zone around Freeport 11 at all, which is something I personally would prefer to limit to the station only and not to the area around it, to avoid further troubles. As already mentioned here, matter of factly it was the Order which repeatedly violated Freeport 11's NFZ over and over again over the course of the last two years. Since we Zoners, also matter of factly, lack the force to enforce our own laws on anyone, I don't see as to why we should pretend to be able to do that in Delta while it was been proven that we aren't. That however is another story. The Core will certainly have a presence on Freeport 11, that will be as it was two years ago. They will play along our rules on the station, though, as otherwise they will risk breaking the peace treaty - which would result in more loss of reputation and reliability within house space. I doubt they will go that far for just the sake of a piece of metal. Let's face it: They care less about Freeport 11 as an asset than about Freeport 11 not existing anymore at all.

Zoners will continue to manage the freeport, as long as it stands.

As for the reaction of the Order, well, I think people know my attitude about them. True allies respect each other's laws. Something I yet have to see in Delta.
