Application: conmann35 How did you find the faction? What caught your interest?
I've had a passive eye on the Vagrants that's been growing since its intial inception. The faction's unique take on Nomad roleplay and the structures it has put in place are a strong draw.
Have you read the faction writeups? Do you know what a Nomad is and do you have experience roleplaying them?
I've given the Vagrant lore/writeups a good looking at, and I'm pretty sure I know what a "space-squid" is although I have no practical experience with them whatsoever from their perspective, though.
How long have you been playing Freelancer? Do you have experience leading factions, etc.? Have you ever been sanctioned and if yes, why?
I have over a year's experience or so with Disco at this point. I am the current faction leader of SCRA and take up active roles in other factions as well. I've never been sanctioned.
As a Nomad, you are the antagonist. Are you aware that you are to play this role and that others will treat you as such? Do you have a problem with that?
Performing hostile actions within the scope of roleplay is nothing that I will have a problem with. Let the world tremble.
Do you have roleplay experience outside of Discovery? Did you ever play on other Freelancer servers and if yes, which?
Disco is my only Freelancer server and that will probably remain as such. I've some other forms of roleplay experience outside of Disco.
We have a clear code of conduct. We expect decent behaviour from our members on the forums as well in the game. Do you believe you will be able to do that? Do you acknowledge that your membership can be terminated if you violate the faction code of conduct or the server rules?
I'm willing to follow any regulations necessary alongside global server rules.
While not strictly necessary, getting a grip on your roleplaying ability is crucial for our evaluation process. Please provide links to roleplay that you have done on the Discovery Forums as well as a list of character names you use ingame.
Personally I'm not a big fan of writing big biographies in Disco, I prefer much more "practical" RP for Discovery such as comms and in-game activities. As such I would direct you to any message dumps or communiques out there that I've done and to people in the factions I currently operate in.
