Hitting cruise to catch up an afterburnering pilot

I was 10k away killing the GC that thrusted away from you fighting the AFA, I was able to catch up on normal 350 speed since:
1. you were thrusting
2. you were headed towards the JH, so I could cut the corner.

I didn't head toward the JH until all three of you were on me.

The AFA followed me the whole time, I was on afterburner the whole time with the AFA on me, he hit cruise even though I didn't, not until all three of you were there.

If you cruised to catch me while I'm on afterburner and still in gun range of the pursing AFA isn't that illegal?

If he got separated in group combat, I was 10 k away on afterburners (actually far less than 10 k away), never hit cruise at that point (didn't need to with a cheetah afterburner) and was still in combat with one AFA and he hit cruise to catch us isn't that a violation?

And what good is a sanction report? There's no proof, even screenshots wouldn't show any proof and who has time to hit print screen in combat anyway?
