How about we expand the hitting cruise rule ... "if the guy in afterburner continues to thrust out of range of his pursuer's guns and missiles, he is considered fleeing and must leave the system for 4 hours and cannot re-engage for 4 hours." This is more to the point ... he's running away ... he's just loopholing the cruise rule.
So then in a three against one, you are saying one guy could hang back, then hit cruise when a person is afterburning away legally, even when others on his side are still in range?
