Crayter Military Reporting Facility

Fellow Crayterians,

I wasn't sure whether or not to send this here or not but as I seek armament advice, I figured, why not.
I would like to introduce to you my latest investment for the Republic, a medical cruiser, =CR=Nightingale

She's still in space dock getting outfitted for medical use so while she's commissioned, she's not yet ready for service. So here's my question as I'm not a military person for say.
For defensive armament, what is recommended? It's not intended as an offensive weapon but with the many enemies we have, well, she should be ready.
I will also need stores of pharmaceuticals and a good many other supplies to outfit it.

Any advice on this is appreciated.
