There are already too few fights in Disco.
Why? Because it is rare that a fight is "good".
Why is that so? It is difficult to somehow manage to not encounter something that makes you go "meh".
The Delta escapade has provided the community with knowledge on how to ruin fights even more effectively.
Some people even got hyped and think that this is the new way to fight: cloak-abducting and nemping.
Expecting that future fights will be bad, fewer people will go for fights.
And we will have less fights again. => start at the beginning.

Never thought I'd find myself agreeing with Jack ever again. Unless things have drastically changed since I took my leave (and I know they haven't) fights of any real size at all are still tricky to find, let alone good fights that actually promote fun, enjoyment, and maybe even roleplay for one or both sides.

The only reason this server is still alive is because of the strange, virulent form of Stockholm Syndrome it seems to hook people with. It takes some time away from Discovery to realise just how much of a soulless, time-wasting void the place really has become. Anything you could ever hope to find here - save the setting and the admittedly unique PvP - is available in spades in about a million other places with far less drama, crying, whinging, and general negativity. There's more shit-slinging after the average Disco "fight" (and there are no real fights anymore, just ten or so screaming autists on TS taking a dump on a motley crew of Eastern Europeans and Brazilians who can't even form basic sentences, let alone contribute to the server in any way beyond being great, big, glorified NPCs for people to shoot at) than there is in the monkey enclosure at the zoo.

If you want decent PvP in 2017, I suggest you take yourself to Conn in a snub and have your fun. If you're a cap pilot or looking for groupfights, I suggest either building a time machine to 2014 or before, finding another game to play, or going to weep quietly in the corner for what we've lost.

I would say it's a shame, but having finally managed to rid myself of any real stake in the place I'm honestly just content to watch the longest, slowest, and most excruciating train crash in history play itself out.
