Due to the pressure and strict upbringing, Karl rebelled and ganged up with juvenile delinquents and started using drugs. Eventually, he left home when he was only 16 and became a drifter at the Orbital Spa and Cruise resorts on Baden Baden. On his many adventures, he met and befriended a tramp who taught him the secret of mining- Kruger-style. All he needed once he had this knowledge was to put it into practice in the right faction...:
