The first Omicron experiance

Marla and Daniel were on their way to the Omicrons. They made enough money to sustain themselves for a year or 2.
During this time they planned to explore society on the travels and maybe even make contact with aliens, which was Daniels most imaginative interest.

After a weeks peroid, Dresden was left behind and Omega 55 was the next stop. They had to land on Bautzen station for the jump hole information since space traders were reluctant to give the info.
After settling on Kruger base, they ate dinner while waiting for the official Kruger representative to arrive. When he finaly did, they engaged in conversation about traveling, society, sociology and many more things. In a brief moment Daniel noticed that even he was reluctant to speak of the Omicrons or how to get there. But after some time, Kruger officer decided to reveal the location of the Omega 55 Jump hole. He also told them to keep distance from planets of bases, since the Coalition didnt like people snooping around. He even gave them the coordinates to the Omicron Gamma from there and told them he wont show them further.

Now that Marla and Daniel knew how to get to the Omicrons, they finished up on the Bautzen base, and headed in to open space.....

They were 4k from the Omicron Gamma hole and Daniel was yelling evasive manouvers commands. Marla navigated through the asteroid belt to the best of her flight instructor abillities. They dodged missles and torpedos by an inch, but the ship was damaged from Tachyon gun fire. Finaly and barely they made a jump to Omicron Gamma.
Upon exiting the hole on the Omicron Gamma side, Daniel engaged cruise engines as fast as he could and set some random coordinates away from the jJump hole.

Some half an hour later, they stumbbled upon an unknown base, and with a heavily damaged ship, they had no chance but to risk it and try to find shelter there. As they approached the base, with in a few moments, strange shaped interceptors surrounded them and orded a complete surrender, or destruction will follow.
Daniel obeyed, since the ship was in no condition for yet another random escape.
They were brought on base, which turned out to be Skiros station, a Corsair territory.

Daniel heard about Corsairs from the Junker stories. They were presumed to be agressive and their society was deemed a dictatorship.
They were questioned on the base, about their pressence in the system, and upon explaining that they only wish to reaserch the Corsair culture and ceremonies, surprisingly the Corsair commander said it is ok. As long as they keep out of trouble and away from Corsair training areas. Certain parts of the base were also restricted for Marla and Daniel.
Daniel asked one more thing from the commander. To fix the explorer ship they arrived on.
The commander agreed but in return Daniel would have to work in the mining field bringing the Xeno Relics to planet Crete, for reaserch. Daniel agreed, since they needed repairs and this would also be a great opportunity for him to investigate the strange Xeno Relics.
Daniel heard of such relics in the past, but he never had the chance to examine one first hand.

Daniel begun to work for the Corsairs with a borrowed Essedarius transport.
During his work, he expanded knowledge on society structure and even the knowledge of aliens since the Corsairs were greatly knowledgable of them, and didnt hessitate to speak of them, unlike people in house space.
