Communique from CGF Marshall

Soldiers,
Comrades,
Brothers and Sisters in Arms,

I come in front of you not as your Marshall, but as a humble Soldier and I must say that I am impressed and I am honored that I serve with such courageous people. You are what defines us as a nation.

Our Ground Forces origins are humble and I must say that when we arrived on Pecos we had nothing to resemble a structured Force but now, we are a Force.

We trained for years, we study our history and we adapted, we learned from it and we overcome now what kept us back. Slowly, our dwindling force have grown, a few recruits every year until the government took control and started the rebuilding, until our citizens found in them the patriotic call to protect the freedoms which defines us, to protect our civilization, our nation.

We are armed, we are trained, we are READY! Ready for what, you may ask?

The Republic is AT WAR, brothers and sisters, and is not only us who are threatened, all of free Sirius is under attack from an enemy who prepared and gather forces for several centuries. And then they come, in their hundreds, in their thousands, in their ships pouring destruction on every Sirian and Crayterian that dare to stay in their face.

Remember the Tau 44!

For those we have left behind!

This words means more then a form of salute, remember our pilots and our soldiers that were slaughtered to buy our civilians a few precious moments, remember the civilians that were butchered trying to escape. And why they were butchered? Because they had tried to impose their rule over us, their way of thinking and their civilization over us and we refused.

What happened to us, happened to others! On Harris, on Leeds, in Edinburgh, in Tau 31, in Tau 23 they came and impose their law and killed all that refused!

We showed them what we can do, when Alliance forces took back Tau 44. That was the FIRST system liberated but our work is not done. Millions of people are still suffering because of the Gallic expansion, thousands are living in fear, fear of execution if they do not do what they say.

They lost their right of speech! They lost their freedom! In their name I call you to fight! For them!
For those that we left behind! They are the ones that are suffering under the yoke and they may think that we forgot them. No, we didn't!

Is time to liberate those planets.

Soldiers, I command you! Land on those planets and remind the Gauls that nothing come cheap, that nothing will be that easy. Drop and free Leeds! Drop and free Harris!

Our brothers and sisters from the Fifth Division are the first ones to enter in the fray. Secure a beach head!
Contact the Resistance! Destroy any Gallic installation or facility! Free any Bretonian and deliver them to safety!
