I never believed this day would come.

We may differ in our ideals, we may disagree. We may fight for different things, but I truly believe neither of us wishes to see Bretonia fall, we just both want what we think is best.

They have demanded our surrender, but I cannot stand to watch the people I vowed to protect tortured and murdered by the Gallic warmongers.

I humbly request that, in our time of need, we set aside our differences. I can't guarantee much should we survive this, and have no illusions that they will strike with all they can throw at us, but I will hand deliver your requests to the Queen if I have to.

Just please don't let us fall.
