"Well I left Gallia because Seline had a horrible case of exploding control panel to the face." She laughs for a moment then returns to a more serious tone. "If you're asking why turn my back on generation after generation of tradition... Well, there's not really a better way to this but, it's because I reached Kusari... I know, it sounds stupid. But information about what the Roi and their forces are doing is so limited, so filtered. When I landed on New Tokyo at the Gallic embassy it wasn't much different really... But then I was able to explore for myself, see things as they really were, not censored or fabricated to make the war look more noble then it is, granted... Then I wrote it off to be mere propaganda like the Maquis throws around." She sighs softly. "Then I started to notice contradictions in the Information given to us... Even Nobility in the Royal Navy don't get the whole truth..." She looks back to where the Gold-1 is, a distant look in her eyes. "When I returned to Gallia through Rishiri there was a transport... Taking passengers from La Charite to Lyon, I thought nothing of it until the Royal Police stopped it... Turns out there was a member of the Council aboard... instead of just arresting the criminal like the laws normally dictate, they opened fire on it even though there were dozens of innocents still inside, and even destroyed the escape pods that got away... That by itself was... beyond horrific, but when news of it came out... They claimed it was loaded with explosives and was bound of Ile de France herself, I asked Papa about this, but he was told that it was filled with Council Marines set to take the Battleship Epinal... And that the information given to the public was to make it so they wouldn't be afraid of a Valor coming under control of the rebels. It just... Dumbfounded me that they would lie to an Admiral... So I started looking into things, more and more falsehoods started showing themselves, including multiple families in the Court of the Roi being arrested for connections to would be assassins that we stopped... The evidence provided was faked, some of the assassins were linked to families they had no ties to, and in one case linked to a family that they hated... I know this because it was one that I myself stopped! That's when I finally realized how Corrupt and lost the Royal family and their supporters are... So I made the choice to go to one of the few groups that might know the truth, the Council themselves. They of course did not trust me at first, why would they? But they indulged me and showed me reports, not theirs, but the Royal Navy's... The unfiltered and unaltered reports that showed just how horrible the things that were being done in the Kings name are... And how hard the colonies are fighting back against the monstrous actions of the crown." She looks back to Honya slightly embarrassed. "Forgive me... I started rambling didn't I? I guess if I had to pick a reason for leaving... It would be to see things as they are, away from the lies and propaganda spread by my house and it's people. Or, to get a taste of freedom from the crown perhaps."
