@bluntpencil: I have fooled around awhile back with putting missles and guns in place of the original front gun. Not terribly effective. Without a front gun, you're toast when being engaged by other cappies.
Sure, with a missle I can target a fighter's subsystems, but lvl 7 missles don't pack much punch. Same applies to guns. Pretty, but ineffective, light show.
@mjolnir: No, I probably won't get a Liberty gb. I'll probably just get an Orca as a second ship after I get enough money for mk 8 cap armor. The IMG gb just doesn't do it for me. Some people call it balanced - I call it boring. Anyhoo, from an rp perspective, the Liberty gb would be a more likely option, but that's just my opinion.
I have no doubt the Orca will be fixed. But until it is (which might be quite a long time) I need a good ship to hunt with.
