Howdy Y'all, hope you're having a fine New Year's Eve. I've managed to encounter a Unione Corse flying a Gallic Liner in California, coming from Cortez. He was hauling Diplomats to Manhattan, as he claimed. Anyway, I've had a nice chat with him and managed to discretely extort him. Here are the black box logs.

Moving on, the Spyglass Scanner picked up multiple contacts in Kansas and so I made haste, on my way I've met a Republican Colossus hauling Copper Ore. I've managed to extort a fine sum and threatened him even, I don't have a huge liking for foreign corporations.

Lastly, I finally reached the Kansas copper field only to find a gathering of Deep Space Engineering Rhinos and a single Hegemon that managed to dock on the Modular Base, and a Kruger Ragnar. I asked for a simple sum of two million from each but it seems they like to use the "silent treatment". Although one of them decided to open fire on me - unwise he was as I swiftly shot him down to make a lesson out of him. I left the others alone and flew away empty-handed. Clearly, there was no profit to be made there.

I've got to extort some more to afford a bomber, not being sure of myself taking down that Corse Liner on my fighter.
