Nomad Warforms - The Adad

The "Adad" Void Archon is aptly named given its role. The Adad is the Nomad 'bomber' as humans would understand it. Unlike the first two forms, the Navigator and Labraid Voidrunner, the Adad is slower and bulkier. It lacks the swiftness of its predecessors, but makes up for it by the drastic increase in power.

The Adad was initially created to combat the increasing amount of warships roaming around the Nomad home sector, the Omicrons. The Bounty Hunter Guild Core and The Order were the first two major factions to arrive within the Omicrons. These factions had just as much desire to kill the Nomads as each other, and the Nomads lacked any significant firepower to take on these new hostiles.

This warform, however, was first seen in the year 800A.S. when a swarm of them destroyed the Zoner installation, Freeport 7. This started the chain of events that instigated what became known as the Nomad War. Almost thirty years later, these forms are in use, but their successors are not far away, sometimes being seen in the core Nomad systems.
