Hussaini observed everything attentively, his face gaining an expressiveness unlike his usual self, full of child-like curiosity and excitement. They touched down on this remote planet, and the man that he once was swam to the surface once again, for a few brief seconds. He bent over and touched the ground. He knelt and ran his fingers through the dirt, picking up a handful and letting it flow through his fingers and back to the ground. He observed towering trees around him, and actually felt the wind as they swayed. He fixated his eyes on the swaying and twisting branches, almost mesmerized. But the more he focused on them, the more they seemed ethereal and unreal. He couldn't place it, but he strongly felt the whole scene was very uncanny. Then he remembered - it was a mere illusion. The worlds they were fighting for, the real worlds, were out there, far from this place.

"Quite impressive, Brother." He quickly reverted to his former self, his honest bewilderment disappearing with his momentary infatuation over the complex simulation. The Matrix' projection focused on his thoughts, and as he started walking, the landscape started changing beneath his feet. The ground disappeared, and only a marble-white, transparent surface of honeycombed tiles appeared beneath his feet. The atmosphere disappeared as well, in a similar fashion, and was replaced by a simulated starry night. This is how the Matrix chose to paint a representation of his mind-state, without his conscious input. Sterile and cold, without distractions. He stopped at one point and looked up to the perceived direction of Synk's voice. "You've created nothing short of a miracle here. But it seems to me that in your isolation, and with all these ample distractions, you've disregarded our Struggle in the outside world."

He couldn't help but squeeze in the passive-aggressive verbal nip, it was after all, his most honest and natural state. "The Great work suffers no delays, Brother. You've seen all the things we were forced to endure in this short time. The wheel of fate threatens to trample us all beneath it." He paused and made a few more paces around the flat, cold surface. "We need yet another miracle now. Is the Matrix ready for integration?"
