As Dino said, officialdom takes time. Not only that, but I'll state it here that you don't need to be an official faction to make a big mark here. Likewise, to be an official faction, you need to give people a good reason make you official. That means cooperating with the factions around you and not throwing cruisers into fights because it's militarily the 'right thing to do'. I'm no expert on becoming official, as I'm still the leader of a faction that comes back every month or two just to do something and hide again, but I will say that what you're doing with the attitude you've got won't make it to officialdom. Something needs to change, whether it's your viewpoint, your lack of cares to give or just your faction write-up.
And bearing off the cruisers fiasco, inRP it may make sense, but ooRP, where most of the people here's concerns are I'd guess, it's just not good sportsmanship. People come here to relax and enjoy the work they're putting into this game, sit back and have a good time with the people in the community. Throwing an archer on top of fighters against one single small red blip doesn't fit into that niche, and I'm sorry but it's just not good behavior from a faction that, as you said, has plans to go official.
