Firstly, Gracias for taking the time to respond to our request. I am sure you are both very busy people.

Graf Roland von Tannenberg, you have raised some good questions and I understand why as well. So I'll take it from one point and work through them...

Before I answer your questions I want to make it unequivocally clear that we are not here to demand anything from Rheinland. That would be disrespectful and an insult to any intelligent man. We are here to discuss and humbly ask. We know what our people has done over the decades and I won't dismiss that.

It is also true that we did not approach any Rheinwehr Offizier. But taken how aggressive the Rheinland Military has been in the last month...We were not sure if any of your Officers would have taken us seriously. This takes us to our next point.

Why did we not contact the Direktor of the Büro himself? Well as I said the hostile nature between my people and yours has led to it being rather difficult for any talks or diplomacy to take place. From rumors and intelligence reports I had heard of Flottileadmiral Hans Schultz. I had thought it best to contact him and work through him to get a serious ear or audience. As you can see it has had an effect. We honestly do not wish to nor intended to disrespect the Direktor of the Büro. If the Direktor of the Büro feels insulted by this act then I personally apologize for it.

Now concerning the Unioners. This is a rather sensitive matter and I believe this is a crossroad for us. The Unioners are old allies of the Corsair Empire and The Brotherhood. When we made contact with them they showed that they were reckless and that we can not fully trust them. They have thus far laid mostly demands forward for us to show that they can trust us. Some of these demands went further then what we intend to do...Namingly hunt Rheinland Military ships and pilots. If you read through the meeting logs you will find that we requested help from BDM to create a cover for us. I just want to state that we do not want to continue the relationship with the Unioners. Reason why we want to create a cover for this is simple. We do not wish the Council of Elders hearing of our meeting or request until we feel we are in a position to defend or argue in favor of this request or treaty. If you feel that this shows that we are not being forthcoming with relation to them..then we will end all comms with them. I just hope it will be the end of it for them.

Now for what we offer that is not stated above? I do believe that we are in a position to help the Rheinland Military against any threat of the Coalition. We are also at war with the Gas Miners Guild and we could possibly assist you in that war effort. Our connection with the Unioners might also be of use. Say like spies or informants. We are also in a position to reform or influence the Corsair Empire. One would think that the Rheinland Government would be prone to jump on a opportunity to have one less enemy and one more friend. What we can offer is difficult to say...I am not exactly sure what you would want or need.

How can we be trusted if we betray our friends? Senor, I have never betrayed any of my friends. If you are referring to the Unioners, then they are not our friends. Despite us giving them resources and aid against enemy vessels, they repeatedly stated that they don't trust us. They have also failed to deliver anything in turn. So no they are not friends. If you are talking about our people or hermanos then I would not call it betrayal. I see it that they are still blinded by their own past and tradition. We are doing this for them. For the good of our people, for our future and for the progression of our people.
If this still does not make a difference on how you see our trust or reason behind our actions...Maybe you might have a better idea on how we can prove it.

I am also not sure why you would call this an alliance request? I have stated that we want peace and trade. But I guess it would be called an alliance if we get involved in helping each other on the military fronts...

Polizeidirektorin Carsten, I have CCed the Rheinland Federal Polizei to show that we are trying to be transparent towards Rheinland. I do not expect you to jump into politics on our behalf. I only want you to observe and see our intentions. If you have suggestions then we will listen and if you have questions please ask them. We are here to improve and build a relationship with Rheinland.

I hope that the answers that I povided is to both your satisfaction. I hope to hear more from the RM and RFP. I also do hope that BDM will soon reply as well...We are eager to hear what they have to say as well.
