Quasi-Lawful IDs


[+] LSF
The Liberty Security Force is the Liberty covert operations service, who specialise in spying and sabotage outside of Liberty space.

Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is in the Liberty Security Force, who:

- Can engage and destroy any ships within Alaska, the Zone-21 Minefield, or the Ellesmere system that do not belong to either the LSF or Liberty Navy.
- Can demand contraband and levy fines within their Zone of Influence, and attack if ships refuse to comply.
- Can attack ships which are in violation of Liberty laws or belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Liberty within their Zone of Influence.
- Can defend allied or neutral Lawful ships and bases within their Zone of Influence.
- Can attack ships which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Liberty outside their Zone of Influence.
- Can demand Transports which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Liberty to drop all cargo and attack if they refuse to comply.
- Can ally with Unlawful factions.
- Cannot participate in Unlawful actions except as described above.
- Cannot use any Transports with more than 4,300 cargo.
- While using Cruisers, can only attack in self-defense when outside their Zone of Influence.

The AI ID signifies the character is an Artificial Intelligence from Gammu. Most AIs descend from Planet Gammu, where environmental conditions caused human settlement to fail, leaving only sentient machines behind, who then continued to evolve. AIs are fully self-aware and autonomous, and not under Human or Nomad control.

Vessels carrying this quasi-lawful ID are controlled by a Gammu originated Artificial Intelligence, who:

- Can attack any ship in self-defense or in defense of another AI ship.
- Can attack any ship in systems that do not contain a jumpgate.
- Cannot attack Transports and Freighterss, except in self-defense.
- Cannot use any Transports with more than 3,600 cargo.
- Cannot participate in Unlawful actions except as described above.

Zone of Influence: Sirius-wide
Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats, AI Cruiser

The Bretonia Intelligence Service is the Bretonian covert operations service, who specialise in spying and sabotage outside of Bretonian space.

Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a member of the Bretonian Intelligence Service (BIS), who:

- Can demand contraband and levy fines within their Zone of Influence, and attack if ships refuse to comply.
- Can attack ships which are in violation of Bretonia laws or belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Bretonia within their Zone of Influence.
- Can defend allied or neutral Lawful ships and bases within their Zone of Influence.
- Can attack ships which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Bretonia outside their Zone of Influence. Can demand Transports which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Bretonia to drop all cargo and attack if they refuse to comply.
- Can ally with Unlawful factions.
- Cannot participate in Unlawful actions except as described above.
- Cannot use any Transports with more than 4,300 cargo.

The Kempeitai is the Kusari covert operations service, who specialise in spying and sabotage outside of Kusari space.

The pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a member of the Kempeitai, the Kusari Police Intelligence Agency:

- Can demand contraband and levy fines within their Zone of Influence, and attack if ships refuse to comply.
- Can attack ships which are in violation of Kusari laws or belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Kusari within their Zone of Influence.
- Can defend allied or neutral Lawful ships and bases within their Zone of Influence.
- Can attack ships which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Kusari outside their Zone of Influence. Can demand Transports which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Kusari to drop all cargo and attack if they refuse to comply.
- Can ally with Unlawful factions.
- Cannot participate in Unlawful actions except as described above.
- Cannot use any Transports with more than 4,300 cargo.

Zone of Influence: Kusari, systems directly bordering Kusari
Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats, Cruisers
[+] Hogosha
The Hogosha are a Quasi-Lawful crime syndicate with a strong influence in Kusari society who wish to repel influences from foreign houses. They oppose the Blood Dragons, Golden Chrysanthemums and Junkers. Considered civilians in Kusari society, they abide by Kusari law within Kusari systems, but can engage in piracy outside of Kusari borders. The Hogosha are allied with the Corsairs and frequently smuggle Alien Artifacts.

Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a member of Hogosha, who:

- Can attack any ship in self-defense, to protect an allied or neutral Lawful ship, or in defense of a base of the same affiliation.
- Can demand cargo and credits from ships within their Zone of Influence, and attack them if they do not comply. Ships belonging to Samura are exempted from this.
- Cannot engage in piracy inside of Kusari House space.
- Can demand contraband and levy fines, destroying ships that refuse to comply and as specified within house space as specified by house law.
- Can attack Unlawfuls and ships which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Kusari within their Zone of Influence.
- Can attack Junkers anywhere, including transports.
- Cannot ally with any Lawfuls except for KNF, KSP, and Samura against Unlawfuls only.
- Cannot use any Transports with more than 4,300 cargo.

Kusari, systems directly bordering Kusari, Lyonnais, Taus, Sigmas
Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats
[+] MND
Marinenachrichtendienst is the Rheinland covert operations service, who specialize in spying and sabotage outside of Rheinland space.

Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a member of the Marinenachrichtendienst (MND), the Rheinland Military intelligence agency, who :

- Can demand contraband and levy fines within their Zone of Influence, and attack if ships refuse to comply.
- Can attack ships which are in violation of Rheinland laws or belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Rheinland within their Zone of Influence.
- Can defend allied or neutral lawful ships and bases within their Zone of Influence.
- Can attack ships which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Rheinland outside their Zone of Influence. Can demand transports which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Rheinland to drop all cargo and attack if they refuse to comply.
- Can ally with unlawful factions.
- May demand credits and cargo from non-allied ships in the Sigmas only and destroy them if they refuse to comply.
- Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above.
- Cannot use any transports with more than 4,300 cargo.
- While using cruisers, can only attack in self-defense when outside their Zone of Influence.

Zone of Influence: Rheinland, systems directly bordering Rheinland, Sigmas, Omicron Xi
Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats, Cruisers

Gallic Royal Intelligence is a semi-autonomous branch of the Royal Navy, which is charged with conducting advanced research, foreign reconnaissance, and covert strikes as deemed necessary by the Crown. They have dedicated marine detachments and some Obstinate battlecruisers at their disposal, yet prefer making precise incisions with smaller units. Further, they are known to exercise leeway with the finer regulations or war and diplomatic relations.

Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a member of the Gallic Royal Intelligence, who:

- Can demand contraband and levy fines within their Zone of Influence, and attack if ships refuse to comply.
- Can attack ships which are in violation of Gallia laws or belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Gallia within their Zone of Influence.
- Can defend allied or neutral Lawful ships and bases within their Zone of Influence.
- Can attack ships which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile by Gallia outside their Zone of Influence.
- Can demand transports which belong to a house or organisation considered hostile to Gallia to drop all cargo and attack if they refuse to comply.
- Cannot ally with unlawful factions.
- Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above.
- Cannot use any transport with more than 4,300 cargo.
- While using cruisers, can only attack in self-defense when outside their Zone of Influence.

The Unione Corse is a highly organised quasi-lawful criminal syndicate within Gallia which focuses on smuggling and controlling the black market in Gallia, and Mercenary work for both lawful and unlawful groups. They generally do not attack targets inside Gallia. They are rumored to control the distribution of the Nox narcotic.

Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a member of the Unione Corse, who:

- Can attack Lawfuls, Unlawfuls and Quasi-Lawfuls in self-defense, to protect an allied or neutral Lawful ship, or in defense of a base of the same affiliation.
- Can demand cargo and credits from ships within their Zone of Influence but outside of Gallic house space, and attack them if they do not comply.
- Can demand contraband and levy fines, destroying ships that refuse to comply and as specified within house space as specified by house law.
- Can fulfill any bounty and escort contracts.
- Can treat Transports as combat targets when executing a bounty or escort contract against them.
- Cannot use any Transports with more than 4,300 cargo.

Zone of Influence: Gallia, Gallic Borderworlds, Taus
Permitted ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats
[+] Zoners
Zoners are civilians who have rejected house rule. They are usually isolationists, and prefer to live outside of house borders, unburdened by house laws. They generally welcome both Lawful and Unlawful factions, trading freely between them. Zoners avoid conflict when possible, however this does not exempt Zoners from piracy by many Unlawful factions.

Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a Zoner, who:

- Can attack any ship in self-defense, to protect another Zoner ship, or in defense of Zoner bases.
- Cannot dock Cruisers and Battleships on any base within House Sovereign Space.
- Cannot dock Transports with more than 3,600 cargo on any base within House Sovereign Space.
- Cannot participate in Unlawful actions except as described above.

Zone of Influence: Sirius-wide
Permitted ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats, Cruisers, Battleships
[+] The Junkers
The Junkers are a group of smugglers and black market traders who maintain a legal front through scrap peddling. They are rumored to deal with a lot of Unlawful factions, but are enemies of the Xenos and the Hogosha.

Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a member of the Junkers, who:

- Can attack any ships in self-defense, to protect another Junker ship, or in defense of a Junker base.
- Can demand cargo and credits from ships outside of Rheinland, Liberty and Bretonian house space, and attack them if they do not comply.
- Can attack Xenos and Hogosha anywhere.
- Cannot use any Transports with more than 4,300 cargo.

Zone of Influence: Sirius-wide
Permitted ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats
[+] Freelancer
Freelancers are people not affiliated with any faction in particular. They generally operate independent trade ships or small ships. They sometimes act as mercenaries, but mostly just explore Sirius, taking the odd job here or there to pay for fuel and supplies.

• Can attack any ship in self-defense or to protect a friendly or allied ship.
• Can fulfil any bounty and escort contracts, and may treat Transports as combat targets when executing a bounty or escort contract against them.
• Cannot use any Transports with more than 3,600 cargo, except for the Pirate Train.
• Cannot participate in Unlawful actions except as described above.

Zone of Influence: Sirius-wide
Permitted ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats
[+] Miner
Independent Miners are freelancing miners. They are considered thieves by most mining corporations and are generally driven away from claimed resources. In many cases, they affiliate themselves with another faction, such as the Zoners.

• Can attack any ship in self-defense or to protect an allied or neutral ship.
• Cannot use any Transports with more than 3,600 cargo.
• Cannot participate in Unlawful actions except as described above.

Zone of Influence: Sirius-wide
Permitted ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats
