She was surprised that she was smiling at his explanation. He had such a simple way to explain things. It didn't take long for him to get to the point. She liked that.

"She's done quite a few of those. Without her all our construction efforts would be very much delayed. It might be that they'd not have survived actually." That wasn't a lie or exaggeration. Had anyone found Marshall when it was still defenseless it'd have hardly survived. "She's not your everyday Zoner or transport pilot." Victoria said with another smile. She had to admit that she liked her. She was just enjoying life it seemed, just going where she wanted, doing jobs for who she wanted. "She was rather formal and respectful. It was refreshing to see how she'd be without directly addressing me. I guess I'd call her charming." She was aware that she was getting increasingly more open, nearly babbling away but she relaxed. She really needed that and she wouldn't care if it wasn't appropriate for her position now.
