Log Entry 6: 825, 25th February

I think I will go insane. Why the hell did it rubbed me on the wrong side to start feeling "vigilante" and dig into things that are better left untouched? I was hesitant to put the log on again. I've been missing for the last week or more I've lost track of time. I didn't even checked with my family over at Los Angeles to see if they are good. Heard there was something bad around the Magellan/Cali systems.

*A long sigh is being heard*

I don't know why I listened to that Zoner over Alberta to go and poke my nose for my next clues over at Cassini. Because I think I .. opened the Pandora's box. What I am about to log here is.. disturbing. I am feeling dizzy and frightened only when I recall the events back.

*There is a silence for 30 seconds*

So I went to Cassini. And.. First of all I am not really sure what happened there. I started to look for some whereabouts of the Foster Base. What I knew about it was that they were studying a spatial anomaly. Later on they were attacked by the Rogues or something like that and they were forced to move. Of course... I didn't bought it. Was a mistake. I am still haunted by that place. It put more questions also. But... first things first.

My first investigation site was near a hidden planet inside a nebula. Roaming there without a clue, I found several disabled vessels that apparently were fleeing from Foster Base. They were unfortunately caught by the Rogues and nullified. Despite that, the ship's remnant signatures hinted that the vessels weren't really well equipped thus making me think that they were really trying to get away from Foster Base as quickly as they could... in a desperate manner. I will upload a series of feedback from my ship's computer about it.

Escapists

Right so after roaming around, trying to avoid the Rogue bases. I ran into several ships but they didn't seem to care of my presence. As far as they know, I am simple freelancer, so as long as I don't poke my nose in their stuff, I am alright. Now I went to Foster Base. And then... this investigation started to turn into something extremely strange.

*Another break for around 10 seconds is made*

I don't know what to say I will just...

I picked up something on my scanners. Some echoing signals. They started to pour over my receiver. I thought it would've been just radiation coming from the anomaly. And about that... I've heard about these spatial anomalies around Sirius. Some background reports of this base's activity, stated that this one was something peculiar and more.. "active" or intense, something around those words.

So I picked these strange signals. They were showing on my scanners but I couldn't locate them. They seemed to be around the Base or some sorts. Keeping a distance and circulating around me. Thing is... whenever I tried to catch them on the visual feed, I got blurred imagery. But the audio... is haunting me even now.

Yeah. That was... And that didn't stopped. I did it. I got aboard the station. For a reason, the automated docking worked. The rest of the station was abandoned. Or something similar... I cannot continue to log this. It's.. I already had nightmares with the entire experience. I need to get courage back to continue to elaborate what happened aboard the station. Also this was the image the Signal sent me. It made be froze to death.

Also my exterior sensors got fried when I approached the unstable anomaly. They got crippled. My ship got damaged a little and the repairs will cost me a bit. This is the feedback from the anomaly.

Feed A&B:

It was nightmarish indeed. I am still sick of it. I didn't even reported back to duty. I will have to join back soon before I get suspicious. Wherever I go now, I have the feeling ... those things or.. those screams and that melody... what the hell was that melody. It sounded like a series of disturbed piano tiles. I will need to go on and find more answers. I got into this already.

I will continue the events further on. If I can. If I won't go completely insane.
