You are indeed correct, it has been far too long since we have spoken to the Guild formally. By our records it has been two years in fact. Two years ago it was Abelard himself who approached your predecessor with a proposal for a joint exploration project in the Tau systems, one that would eventually yield the system of Tau-44. It was a triumph of cooperation, one that gave the Independent Miners new resource opportunities and us a home.

It is not lost on us the risk the Guild took in aiding us. As we were fugitives from the Crown, fleeing a web of deceit and injustice, the Independent Mining Guild risked the lives of those miners still operating in Bretonia to aid us. Now the consequences of our relationship are unfolding in Bretonia, where innocent IMG ships are being harassed by her Majesty's forces out of spite for aiding us.
