Horace was happy enough that he was not screamed and yelled at for such a bold move yet, and to see that Monica was even enjoying it and complimenting his non-existing skills, it eased him up a little more. Not to mention, the drink had started to kick in slowly, and he was being pulled into a slight, sweetly numbed state where he could care less and less even if he tried. Especially after that rush of nervousness, this stark contrast made him feel quite content, and for a while he could massage her shoulder with his hand not trembling as much.

He watched her satisfied expression mutely, focusing on every detail, the curl of her lips and her silent sighs, she had closed her eyes and seemed to be savoring the moment. He wasn't yet aware how taken he was by her. Yet, for the next move his pretty companion would pull off he was not ready one bit. She stood up from her seat and walked behind him with the charm of a goddess. And she told him to relax, but Horace was all stiff! How could he relax in such a situation?

Her little hands traveled on his body, going over his muscles and shoulders which really needed some care, actually, and he abruptly let out a satisfied "Mmm..!" without realizing it, then shut his mouth tight and bit on his lips. Just what kind of a noise he made like that? Take hold of yourself Horace!

"H-hey... hmm... Monica... You're not drunk, right?"

Luckily, nobody seemed to have noticed Monica and stared. The old freelancer was focusing on his drink, and other than him there were only a group of veterans too deep in their political discussion, and a young couple in a corner who were too enchanted by each other to care for the rest of the world. They had visited the bar in a time of relative peace.

He added then, "But... ah... it feels great... thanks." He didn't want her to feel that she's not massaging him properly, in fact, it was the best massage he ever had in his life. It was only that Horace lacked all experience and confidence to know what to do next, and thought anything he does will make him look like a fool... Though maybe, being so stiff like this already made him look like so. He really needed to drink more, and so he did, taking another shot of rum.
