Aya's wedding

May 817 A.S.
The time came for Aya's wedding. In the past year she started visiting her future husband more often, but I was never allowed to come. In fact I had never even met him before. The wedding would mean that I would lose my sister permanently and that was not a nice feeling. Not that I liked my sister that much. She was in the spotlight after the death of Shin and my mutilation. But her presence broke my loneliness from time to time.

I was standing in the garden, watching the flowers, when suddenly I heard a voice behind me. I turned around and looked at the man, probably 6 or 7 years older than me, who asked if I was Aya's younger sister. I said yes and felt my cheeks flush. He told me his name was Saito Daisuke and that he was Aya's future husband. We talked a little about Aya and about my health. He seemed to be really interested in me, not just to be nice.
Eventually he wished me a good day and walked away. As I saw him leave, I felt my heart beat faster.
Daisuke... this was the man Aya was all excited about. I could see why. He was handsome and charming.

I went to see Aya in her room. She was waiting for the ceremony to begin. I told her I met Daisuke and that she should be happy that she met such a man. She replied that he was okay. That father made a decent choise for her.
Decent? Decent? He was great. I told her that. And I told her to stop acting so spoiled.
She snidely remarked that any man would have her, unlike her damaged sister. That Daisuke would reject me if father picked him for me.
No. I am not damaged, sister. I am beyond your understanding. I am perfection and Daisuke would love me more than he would ever love you.

She stood up from the chair and told me to leave. I said no and pushed her back into the chair. I told her to be quiet.
I told her that she unworthy of the love of Daisuke. That a being like me should not be talked to as such.
She said I lost my mind and would tell father to take me home.

Aya stood back up and shoved me to the side, walking towards the doors. She did not see how I grabbed a hairpin from the table. I walked behind her and stabbed the hairpin into her neck. I heard her gasp for air. I whispered into her ear:

"Sister... Daisuke will be mine... you are unfit for him..."

I looked at my hands. They were covered in my sister's blood. I felt nothing.
I made my way to the bathroom to wash my hands. Afterwards I went to see what Daisuke was doing
