Fate of Kusari

How is the navy going to handle elements of its officers and sailors (cosmonauts?) that are still hostile to Gallia? I know that Captain Honda is going to be as vocal as her station permits that the GRN is still a threat that needs taking care of.

We already began to do some roleplay regarding the tensions existing within the KNF:
Admiralty

Some KNF reforms are about to happen, leading to the current Admiral of the fleet being replaced and a part of the Admiralty being fired / demoted, as a way to show Imperials attempts to fully control kusari naval forces again.
Some [KNF] members are also roleplaying as hardbass Republicans or Imperials; this difference in views and the grudges some people may have with the other side are pretty interesting.

Refoundation of Kusari Empire:

Following the end of the great civil war, Kusari Naval Forces found themselves facing an identity crisis, after the reintegration of this hardcore of war veterans that returned to House Kusari with the Emperor. Wounds caused by the war marked both sides and there is no doubt going beyond resentments towards the re-foundation of an indomitable military will be a challenging task.

Naval Forces' new political status and the preservation of its influence gained during the Republican era might as well cause difficulties within the higher spheres of power in Kusari. Only time will tell if Naval Forces will accept to return to a status of complete subordination to the Emperor and its backing Keiretsu, or will attempt to become an independent actor in House Kusari political game.

These difficulties will certainly be uneasy to resolve while Kusari has the necessity to repel internal enemies and to reform its military might, as the specter of war casts its shadow on the Sigmas.

And how does Gallia feel about openly hostile fleet elements being absorbed back into the KNF, presumably without any censure or consequences for attacking Gallic troops? Lots of lore has pointed to Kusari building up her forces in the last two decades, and after the upheavals following the war with Bretonia and then the war with Gallia, and the reform puppet-corporate-Gallic sympathizer government and the civil war, there must be some kind of outlet for that tension.

So, I know this is pretty stream-of-consciousness and dispersed. Ultimately, my main question for you all to consider is what's going to happen with Kusari? What is Gallia going to do? [...]

I think neither Kusari nor Gallia have interest in starting a conflict. Kusari simply cannot afford it; There is domestic threats like the Blood Dragons uprising in Nagano to deal with, and the situation in Sigmas is escalating.
Gallia is busy in Bretonia and has to secure for good its advance there, while having to deal with the increased pressure enacted by Liberty. A war with Kusari would mean the creation of another front, forcing GRN to spread finer its assets. That could mean the end of spear heading operations against Bretonia and Liberty.

Then there is the economical factor... Both houses benefit greatly from the economical ties they formed with one another. A war with Kusari would also mean losing access to Rheinland market for Gallia.

I believe people advocating war would be suppressed by the new government and their military hierarchy. Kusari is simply not ready for that war. It may be preparing for it, but it would not happen any time soon, unless Gallia starts to bleed badly and Kusari views it as an opportunity to strike.
