Fate of Kusari

Speaking from a story dev perspective:

Conflict on any official state level is highly unlikely. That said, on the Kusari side I could definitely see rogue elements being a thing, probably mostly focused around Samura and the Kempeitai and likely operating out of Tottori.

On the Gallic side of things, I think we're probably going to see a paradigm shift from mutual respect and cooperation to a relationship based out of pure necessity. Gallia has no reason go trust the new Kusari regime, and they're unlikely to give them one either.

Both houses will have the their largest problems - and subsequently their attention - on opposite sides of Sirius, and that's going to mean a lot more breathing room for smaller factions that might want to throw a spanner in the gears.
