Solution for POBs in mining areas: use the "Entered Freeport NFZ" messaging system

I think a better and easier-to-implement alternative would be to just make attack declaration threads and forum RP unnecessary for bases within 15 or 20 k of mining fields.

Or even better, make base building there against the rules.

Players can be warned about this in the texts which they use to learn about how to build bases, and in the server rules.

I'm generally for making rules to build bases stricter, and in return make base maintenance and defense easier. Not only with regard to mining, but also to focus player interactions and encourage interactions instead of discourage them. My two bases pretty much made me avoid interactions because of people out there looking for ways to destroy them, and because I dont want to be bothered in my supply runs.

So let's make a rule: PoBs in minefields can be taxed without limit.

Submitting players to "might makes right" mechanics is the best way to turn the server into a cesspit and drive people away. It's exactly the reason why we ended up where we are.
