Alright, so I had this idea kicking around for a while, but I wanted to actually go ahead and try it to see what happens. Basically, a prebuilt character challenge. I have certain favorite Ids, but I do not get to get out of my comfort zone a lot these days. Here's a chance to do it.
The purpose of this challenge is to take a character someone else has built and simply see what sort of stuff can you do with it. It can be anything - from a light fighter to a battleship. The point is to take the character without altering anything to its loadout, ship and items - and seeing what sort of adventures you can get into with it. Simple as that.
The rules:
You provide me with a prebuilt ship of your choosing.
I retain rights to this character for a month, after which you receive it back again.
Anything you set it up with remains - I am not allowed to edit the loadout, name, equipment or other.
For the duration of the month, I keep a pilot's diary - a message dump-esque written record of the character's misadventures.
The character must be named in accordance to the server rules.
The loadout of the character must retain at least 75% core.
I will try to provide some sort of minimum hours per week on it, but this is hard to specify.
I have the right to retain all credits or items I may obtain on the character once the one month is over.
You retain the right to all of the roleplay established by the character once you receive it back.
EDIT: If you provide a tagged ship, I reserve the right not to participate in your faction's message dumps or chats. In such cases only the faction leader may provide the ship.
First come, first serve.
First player to send me the character name and movechar code to the ship in PM will be the one I play. You do not need to provide any other information about it.
