Exactly that. Exactly that right there is the problem. Trading or flying at all in disco all comes with the inherent chance of player interaction. It should be, thats the point of simulating a universe in a roleplay environment like this.
When you're intentionally gutting the possibility for player interaction just so people can't interact with you,, you're actively depriving the server of just that much more interaction in a community that already has massive problems when it comes to encounter chance. You're actively contributing to that problem.
This is why jumptrading, in all of it's forms, should've been removed a long time ago: because it's antithetical to the very concept of a living-breathing world were supposed to be populating, simply to gurantee some supplies arrive at a base or just to make money way quicker than is possible elsewise.
So your shipment of hull panels doesn't arrive at a worthless mining-field POB and you cant re-enter a system for 2 hours: so what? Roleplay it- its a RP server- thats what were here for. Thats whats kept the server alive as long as it has. Actively shelving RP possibilities just for the opportunity for either less interaction to make money, or just to get more blues by PVP whoring, are inherently antithetical to the concept of a RP server in the first place. So why is it that were allowing these practices?
