Makoto remained sitting in his seat while both of the men had their talk. Indeed the fact that they could have multiple NEMPs influenced his plan by quite a bit.
"Actually, Admiral, if I may."
He stood up and after clearing his throat he showed the map of Tau-23.
"Since you have brought to my attention we can have multiple of these I do think I can suggest a few things. One of these could be used on the Leeds jump gate in Tau 31, while a second one is used on the Languedoc jump gate in Tau 23. That way we are basically cutting the Gallic forces within these two systems from any outside reinforcement. If we do get our hands on any more of these, of course the next targets would be the garrisons.
At this time Commander Leto's plans can come in effect. With slight alterations since we wouldn't have to worry about anything coming from the jump gates. However I must agree with the Admiral, actions such as kamikaze attacks are a last stand action, and while the pilot has a chance to return to his home base, he is not suppose to use it.
We will also need a similar action plan with Tau 31. I believe the Council should play a larger part in taking of this system due to the connections to Roussillon both within this system, as well as the one in Tau 29 which would allow approach from there. Battlegroup Helios would assist them in this, making rapid strikes with the reinforcement we can provide from Coronado.
Sirs I do believe we should pull as much as we can for this. The quicker we deal these bastards a defeating blow, the sooner we will see their front lines in Magellan and Cortez crumble.
With that he nodded slightly and after sitting down would take a sip from his glass, looking at the two for their response.
