Some background because it will be important.
Our little Gallic funpack had recently moved into Cali for some missions after winning a 3v3 against some Libertonians, where LNS-New.Wales was one of the LN ships destroyed. By all means it was a pretty good fight, which started out as two LSCs and a bomber attacking myself (a BC) and a BS. Eventually a Gallic DD showed up, and it was all pretty paired off.
One of the Libcruisers fled and a bomber was destroyed, and shortly after LNS-New.Wales was destroyed too by a missile from our BS.
Now, we're in Liberty doing missions. We see a big group of LN ships, including 6th Justice mustering for a battle. So we all try to get together. I am alone, and at half health because I have been doing missions. I tradelane up to Los Angeles, where there are at least three caps (including Justice) and two bombers. They immediately gank and destroy me in a matter of seconds, and quickly blow up an isolated GRN destroyer as well.
You have a member and representative of your faction intentionally ganking lone, half-health caps. Is that 6th policy? You really need to let your members know that "revenge" ganking because your friend is QQing is in extremely bad form. This is my first encounter with 6th and I really hope this isn't indicative of faction culture.
Guy, the tactic of the battle with the Gauls, has already developed as a reflex. I can give many examples when we were leading the RP, and then we saw how instead of 4 people (for example) with whom we conducted the RP, 10 more came to their aid. And there was an elementary gank, about which you write here.
The situation made it so: either to drag out time and give to enemy a chance to win, or to break his forces at the very beginning, which greatly increases the our chances of winning. Especially since you were in the space of Liberty's house. This is tantamount to how 3 border guards met the enemy. You seriously think that 1 of the border guards will say: "I myself can manage it"?
And yes, regarding the mission: you saw that in that system there are hostile players. It's only your problem that you go there. Do not get me wrong: I'm an honest player, but I'm sick of standing with Gallia. As practice shows, it's better to quickly attack than wait for the enemy that they gain strength.
