They all went through education together as there was only a couple of years different between them all apart from the older brother who was seven years older. James younger brother and sister headed of to university to get diploma while he wanted to go for a career. The career that James chose was to join the Police Authority to serve and protect the civilians of Liberty. This was back before the corrupted government. As years went on, James went MIA from the Police Authority while he had lost his wife in a tragic indicent. Taking time away from work to focus on recooperating and becoming healthy again. It came to James that staying at home being depressed will not help him, he had to stay active to become better. After he relised, he got back in contact with the Chief of Police to see if he was eligable to return to his duty back as part time. This was due to his daughter Chloe. Chloe was young and being a single parent was difficult for James. This request was approved, but after a few patrols it was clear that James did not want to return to his duty as a officer. But fullfilling his training to become a second in command of a Defiant Gunboat, James finally graduated before leaving the Police Authority.
