This is Commandant Fontaine reporting from the Felin Majestique. Repair efforts to Montmorency are proceeding as planned, despite continued attempts of rebels and savages to undermine our forces.
Some Rheinlander, I'm presuming, thought it would be such a wonderful idea to attempt to hold up moi and attempt to extract payment of francs. As you can see, however, his plan backfired horrendously as he underestimated the power of the 5G Units' combat capabilities, and overestimated his own. With the assistance of EFL transport Batillus this threat was crushed utterly. Also in the area was a Sirian Gas Miners Guild transport, which I believe was hauling ore material on Gallia's behalf. The gas miner sent me five million credits as thanks for dealing with the trash, which I have already sent forth to the exchange for francs and will reinvest into the Roi's resource base.
With their ongoing reshuffle EFL has gotten rid of the troublemakers in their own ranks. We had a bit of an interesting conversation involving the Omicrons and some hyper-advanced drone the capitaine of the Batillus once ran into, but I digress. I expect EFL will fully uphold their present standing obligation to the Roi, given the vigor I've seen out of the Batillus' capitaine in dealing with the aforementioned nuisance pirate.
I'm going to need more heads for this mop I'm wielding. The savage blood just keeps ruining every mop head I use.
