Ageira Technologies and Engineering

This is the formal proposal for the creation of Ageira Technologies and Engineering (AT&E)

1. The founding members of AT&E are: Admonitor00101, =Space_Cowboy00101=, NWolf00101, and [Incom]Dramor_Cronix.

2. Our founding members have collectively spent a lot of time on Freelancer and Discovery. Cronix has played FL since its release, allthough he is relativley new to Disco. Cowboy has been on Disco for around 8 months. NWolf and myself are the newest to Disco, spending about 2 months on the server. Even in my inexperience in Disco, I am a former SA pilot, Aiden Pharar, so I know the rules of the server pretty well. Also, I have spent a lot of time on the forums finding out what is in RP and what isn't. This is why I feel I am qualified to be the CEO of AT&E. NWolf will serve as the CFO, with his other char, the AT&E bank. Cowboy is the CSO, Chief Strategy Officer, who will manage company policy. Cronix's position on the Board is imminent, but not final. As CEO I will monitor the forums, handle diplomatic situations, and of course oversee the running of the company in its entirety.

3. The following are the guidelines and company policy.

Objective: The main objective of Ageira Technologies and Engineering, here out known as AT&E, is to make money in the trading of goods and services across all systems of Sirius. AT&E will stay out of systems that do not have trade lanes or jump gates.

Affiliation: AT&E is affiliated with Ageira Technologies. AT&E ships will have Ageira ID and IFF. AT&E also has a good relationship with Deep Space Engineering, Daumann Construction, and lawful factions of Liberty and Bretonia.

Fleet: The AT&E fleet will be comprised of mostly trading vessels. However, fighters will also be employed. Most of the AT&E fleet will spend its time making trade runs between systems. The fighers will be assigned to patrol AT&E bases and also escourt transports on trade runs. The standard fighter that AT&E will fly is the Havoc Mk II, which was developed by Ageira and is available at the Battleship Mississippi in Texas. All AT&E personnel are required to maintain a fighter to defend interests at all times.

Insignia: All AT&E ships are to have the insignia [AT&E] before their name. Transports and freighters are to have [T] preceding the vessels name. The insignia for a trader would be [AT&E][T]-Ship name. Fighters are held to the same insignia. A small change is to me made though. A fighter will use the pilots name, either real or role play. [AT&E]Joe.Smith. No two ships in the fleet can have the same name.

Trading: AT&E will comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the four houses of Sirius. AT&E traders will not carry any illegal cargo at any time. All traders must understand that they work for AT&E, therfore a percentage will be taken from their profits by the CFO. At the end of a period yet to be determined a percentage of AT&Es profits will be returned. AT&E will set up all new traders with a trading vessel and will assist employees in purchasing new ships. The goal is to have every trader under the AT&E banner in Heavy Tankers. Traders will have to work their way up to the Heavy Tanker. Every milestone dollar amount given to the CFO the Trader will receive a ship upgrade. Traders can also buy their own traders if they wish as long as it agrees with role play.

Escourts: The main function of an escourt is to assist the freighters on their runs. Ideally, we want two fighters per tanker. The fighters will be held somewhat accountable if their tanker is destroyed. Fighters will be rewarded for defending any AT&E vessel from other players. Fighters will also be paid every week.

Other regulations: AT&E personnel will not collect bounties or pirate other players. Also, regulating contraband will be left to the authority of the houses. AT&E ships will not fire on any friendly or neutral ship unless fired upon first. Any pirates that are encountered names should be written down and reported to AT&E fleet commanders. All AT&E personnel are to stay out of the Indepentant Worlds.

Last Tidbits: Just as the Outcasts control the export of cardamine in Malta and the Corsairs control the export of Artifacts out of Crete, AT&E would like to control the export of Gate/Lane parts in Colorado. This would be the only jurisdiction that AT&E would have in any system. AT&E is a corporation, not a military organization. We understand we do not control any system. Our bases of operation are Pueblo Station and Detroit Munitions. Also, we are requesting to have our corporate headquarters on Planet Denver. This wouldn't mean we own the planet, rather we have a building there and that is the end of it. Finally, the 500 million credits are stored on the character [AT&E]Bank.
