I am sad to hear Mark Bailey passed away in such circumstances. My crew enjoyed his company, he will be missed.
I am sorry for this long silence, I was in the need to retire. I am feeling ready to come back and I will try to be more present.
On my side, I've been keeping to support the population ofPlanet Nuremberg: bringing some essential goods and evacuating refugees (see the attachments).
One good news is that I managed the acquisition of a second handed armored liner (aka bustard class ship). All weapons have been removed but it came with an impressive armor. I thought it could be useful for situations where we need to travel in remote and potentially dangerous spaces. So here it is: the (>S<)Hyperion.
While transporting refugees to Hammersee I heard people complaining about the not so good conditions for human life on this recently colonized planet. It seems the Rheinland government exaggerated the welfare on this small planet. Indeed, the living condition are not as good as in Planet Gran Canaria for instance... So I took the initiative to re-route some refugees to Freeport 8 as a temporary measure. But then, the station capacity to maintain life support services became challenged. Beyond water, oxygen and food, it's also a matter of space. That's why I also evacuated some refugees (those willing to) to Freeport 9.
Regarding the Manatum Relief Sanctuary I agree that we should help them to settle properly. I will bring some supplies when I will have the chance to visit them. However, unless you estimate their situation is critical, I will focus my effort on Planet Nuremberg.
