Registering my cars and bikes (I have several) is a law. If my neighbor said I had to register them with him as well, I would tell him to stuff it.
Eppy has no legal server right to demand I register with him. He has no moral right because the registration is meaningless as far as RP goes, he's just trying to bully indies because he can.
Saying that is like the DMV is like saying mud is like chocolate.
Do you want to tackle these or just make silly comments?
1. Identifying that there is a problem serious enough to require action.
2. Showing that registration will mitigate the problem.
3. Showing this isn't just petty bullying by faction leaders who want to pvp whore.
Actually the 101st is the law within the RP framework that exists on the server. They've been accepted as that by 90% of the Outcast population. Now I concur with Nooblet and Laowai, if the RP is visble already then the registration is unecessary, it serves no purpose whatsoever. But this is supposed to be dealing with the RP aspect of those who don't have the RP to back up their ship choice. Frankly the RP demand should probably be extended to Outcast destroyers if it's really got a hope of suceeding, but leaving these indies that do not RP alone isn't going to solve the issue at all. It'll make it worse by letting them think it's perfectly alright.
Now if you can come out with a suggestion that doesn't involve spamming my print screen button so much I get RSI, drop it on us. Perhaps we can use that to make this regsitration a thing of the past and move on to other things. Oh and trying to talk to them in game has had zero effect, that was the last plan that was tried to get things in order, that had a good four month's before it got deemed less effective than a chocolate fireguard. Because the responses were largely, "Lol wut? Noob!"
That's just the ones we can find. Jump on to a liberty unlawful at any time of the day and imagine how many of them are prowling around looking for something to shoot. Tis why I hang around in California. Less likely to get ganked.
