Guys, the group thing has nothing to do with this.. It is counted on whether or not the destroyer took part in the piracy. Being as close as he was, I'd say that yes, he was interfering, however he did not actually get involved, so he broke no rule.
Now, by many of you guy's logic, a guy pirating in Sigma-13 can get his friend, who is in a destroyer in ALPHA, sanctioned, just by being grouped. So please guys, enough with the 'He was grouped, sanction him! Blah blah blah..' Its pretty whiny.

Or it could be the first step in pissing off a person, or getting a person in trouble, when he did nothing wrong. Every choice has consequences, they aren't always what you expect, and they aren't always good. Think about the other outcomes your actions can make, not just what you hope they can.
