If anybody is looking for a lowdown corporate faction: Daumann or Kruger, please! Hessians need a faction to hate more than Corsairs:P
More background info: Daumann Construction and Kruger Minerals are the two great corporations in control of the vast mining industry in Rheinland. Due to their status and position they are invariably tied in with the government, which will go out of it's way to protect their interests. Both the companies have a history of worker abuse, but that is mostly hidden from the media these days, though both still push their limits thus enraging Bundschuh and Hessians even more. Both companies mine and ferry primarily diamonds from Dresden (Kruger and Daumann) and Omega-11 (Daumann). In general, Daumann is the more powerful of the two due to Kruger's failure to expand to the Sigma systems, which more or less started the 80 years war with the GMG and closed any further attempts of Rheinland expansion into that area.
I would say for more background go and dock on all the Rheinland corporate bases and read the rumours and base infocards. Some of them are rather interesting.
