Dear IRG representative,

During our travels we picked up a distress signal by a pilot in the deep Omegas. When we arrived at their location however, the ship was disabled. We managed to salvage some items from it, including a ... sphere of somekind. The captain, miss Lilly Woodward, took to examining the object for a day or two. But then it started affecting her. Sending her into frenzied assaults upon us whenever we tried to take it from her. Now we managed to secure it from her with the help of mister Brahms and his crew. Miss Woodward is currently recovering from the effects of the object and the effects of the morphine we used to knock her out. We put it in a container that nullifies any emissions it gives off, but we have nowhere to go with it. We thought you might be interested in this item for study.
