Quote:*For purposes of these Rules, an attack is draining shields to 50% or lower, or hull damage, or when a Cruise Disruptor is fired. Intentional ramming of any large ship is also considered an attack.
Unfair and illogical though it might be, if they even shoot a CD at you and then you hit cruise, you *poof* for four hours. Unless of course you have a trader ID, for whatever reason they have immunity to virtually all of the PvP rules.
Thats what is classified as an attack not whats classified as a PVP fight which is where the fleeing rule comes into play. Just because someone attacks you shouldn't mean that if you don't want to fight them you have to leave a system for 4 hours when you never attacked them. Its not realistic to have to go out of a system just because your outmattched and would have no chance against someone, its different if both parties have actualy attacked each other.
@Raizen: Did he disengage PVP with anyone before using Cruise? (as in had he fired on anyone before using cruse)
