Today there was a small skirmish in the Leeds system, and also quite a big fight in the New London system. The battle in New London clearly shows that it is difficult to do something without friends at hand. So, I'll start in order:
The first fight, as I said, looked like a minor skirmish in the Leeds system. I am, Destroyer "Liberation" and Battleship "Empress of Tau" made a small raid into the Leeds system. We met 2 battleships class "Valor" and 1 Gallic battlecruiser. So, the fight happened near the hole in New London. Battleship "Empress of Tau" was shot down, but I and "Liberation" destroyed the enemy battlecruiser, and then switched to focused fire on enemy battleships. We led this fight to the Leeds planet, where this cowards made an urgent docking. Typical Royal Navy - "fight when can win".
The last battle today took place in the Leeds system, which moved to the New London system. I managed to collide with another Gallic battlecruiser, Gallic bomber and light fighter. The battle was long, the enemy gradually began to win, but I was helped by the Bretonian fighter "Dragoon-1" and the battleship "Richmond". Battleship managed seriously damage to the enemy battlecruiser, I managed to destroy Light FIghter, and the "Dragoon-1" - to destroy the enemy bomber. Nevertheless, Gallic battlecruiser managed to escape.
While we had time to rest, I and Richmond went to Southampton Shipyard, where we made urgent repairs. However, our enemy got to this system, where he encountered a large number of forces that soon arrived in time for Bretonia (including assistance from the small ship of the Coalition). During the battle we lost two battleships, but we managed to destroy almost all of their group: some of the enemy's ships managed to escape.
This fight taught me that it's better to go into the attack with a cover, rather than play the hero and climb alone. If it were not for the Bretonia Armed Forces in the Leeds, I would not be able to help them in New London.
