Wanting to be polite given his sudden visit, he offered her a faint smile, he realized that this might however seem slightly inappropriate. "I'm sorry to drop by like this. But I'm very tired and I had to come here for a last minute meeting. Now I'm sure that if I tried to fly all the way back to New Moscow, I likely wouldn't make it. I didn't know who else to go to."

He noticed movement from just behind her legs and his eyes could just about make out the stature of a small boy with her, the little one was peeping at him all the while but the moment he glanced down towards him, he quickly pulled his back back, keeping it hidden along with the rest of him. But from that brief glance it was easy to see the resemblance between him and Kira, too large of an age-gap for her to be his sister, this had to be her child. "Is it alright if I spend the night here?"

He truly didn't want to make this more awkward than it already was, but his choices right now were few and far in-between, she was his only trustworthy option.
