Finally back in his quarters, now with the double of the Marshals around him, Meallan looked at the sorry mess. He went to check the updates on the project and all was as it should be. Khan and his team was touching up the last details on the weapon mount shunts and Levi and his boys finally ended the stress testing on the skeleton. The supply depot was full thanks to the Bretonian Merchant Navy, and his sister left a very nice and detailed blueprints in his private account for some very nasty looking weapons.

"Uh. They have their coolant lines around the tertiary array. Like the outcasts."

Meallan said to himself, as he walked to the small fridge and removed a beer, opening it with a satisfying sound. Drinking a sip, he kept revising the main aspect of the weapons. Sure, he could improve them, a higher energy output would imply the redesign of the safeties and primary shunts, never mind that the power draw would increase exponentially. But if she has sent the blueprints as is, without a note or a word, then these are the guns that she would be akin to use. Add some civilian shield blasters and he had the energy levels needed for these weapons to be primed and ready. He compiled the energy usage data and sent it to Khan with a note to adapt the mounts connections to balance it all. Swiping the schematics of the weapons, his old engine project emerged.

He did not wanted to pick that up ever again. Two people died in Leniex when he was developing this new high performance engine. Granted, the investigation attributed the blow out to a faulty support system that did not triggered the safeties. But even so, this design already had blood on its hands. Legion blood. And it made Meallan uncomfortable. Re-designing past work was not his favorite hobby and he had a zero tolerance for deadly mistakes from Reeves. The blueprints came up and he sighed. A beast of an engine, his failed attempt on using azurite gas alongside MOX. There was a severe energy failure that cascaded throughout the entire reactor, a problem that he identified but was not fixed, due to the pressing issues of solving the issues with the Prosecutor project delivery.

While a positron charge would solve that issue on paper, the common mistake on junkrats, he knew better. The more you reduce the engine size, the more efficiency is needed for the thrust ratio. Which means you need to harden the components that increases the overall weight if you do not have the right materials. And that came in the answer of pure cold Iridium. Which now they had aplenty. Two magnetic overlapping emitters would contain the plasma energy re-directing it back to where it belongs. Meallan sighed and sipped his beer. This would be a long haul to fix this but more than necessary, as he wanted to incorporate H-Fuel in the mix, increasing the range and operability of the craft with the added bonus that an A.I. would be able to calculate the necessary values of the various fuel injections to guarantee a full permanent thrust at maximum speed.

"Time to work and see what's what."

He gobbled what remained in the beer bottle and put it aside, calling Balderezu to come to his quarters, so that the Kusarian could actually be of assistance other than to rile up the women's bathrooms, it seemed. The engine would have to be built in high performance alloys and he needed the second pair of eyes to check everything. And a senior veteran engine engineer from Kishiro filled those shoes alright. Hopefully Levi wouldn't be coming attached to him, or else the beer would run out soon.
