Me again. Wait, who else would it be?

Anyway, after what has been literally months I've finally made it to the Cologne system with my Osprey, ready to start the modifications to turn the Ingenuus Power Cell into a power core compatible with my ship. The current method of having the power cell enclosed in a specialised container has been adequate for testing of the core's output and effects on my ship, however now I need to look into a more permanent solution.

The independent research team that has been flying with me for a few months now to observe the power cell have been in talks with engineers and physicists upon Heisenberg Research Station, where they hope to be able to turn the power cell into a ship's powercore suitable for the Super Heavy Fighter class, and in turn, my Osprey. How they will do this is a mystery to me, but I'm certain the great minds aboard this magnificent station will come up with an elegant solution that won't require too much modification of the existing structure, and it's additional armour upgrades.

Speaking of this station, wow this place is incredible. There are people here from all over, and of course they're all nerds but like in the impressive way. These are proper scientists and researchers and stuff like that. Even just sitting in the bar I feel so dumb and small compared to these people. They're a dedicated bunch too, I've witnessed fights over telescope time and research disagreements already, and I've only been here for a couple of days! It's amazing stuff.

Anyway, I'll write up another log once they've figured out how to convert the cell into a powercore.
